We're looking for a motivated Engineer to join our expanding team based in Jakarta.  You'll get exposure to South East Asia's tech market, help us grow and nurture our team, and be part of an exciting team working on a range of new projects.

You are:

• A problem solver who likes complex technical challenges.
• Able to work in an agile environment, doing what “startups” need, knowing these needs will evolve as the business evolves.

You will:

• Spend most of your doing real engineering work.
• Work on multiple projects that carry varying responsibilities.

• Run point on projects from a technical and project management perspective.
• You will take ideas from the whiteboard all the way to being live, tracking results and making improvements.
• Manage a project team of engineers, when required. (Lead scrum, sprint retrospectives,etc).
• Collaborate with product managers and other project leaders.
• Build team morale and contribute to building the “Jack’s Culture”.

Your skills and experience;

• 5+ years of development experience.
• At least one year spent leading a team of engineers.
• Your tech stack includes Javascript, PHP, Python, C++, AWS, SQL, Rest APIs.
• Strong leadership skills, ideally with startup experience, ideally in a small team.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.

Bonus points:

• If you have experience or an interest in machine learning and experience working with GIS and blockchains.
